This position will be responsible for overseeing a team of paid social strategy & buying professionals, in addition to overseeing strategic client approaches, integrated with all digital channels under the Performance Group (Paid Search, Programmatic, Social, Affiliate). They will take a lead role in agency and client education in the social space, along with leading New Business pitching and onboarding for the channel.

Implement short- and long-term team planning, integrating Paid Social with all channels in the Performance Group
Oversee Quality Control and Team processes / operations ensuring client output performance is strong and accurate
Maintain oversight on strategic outputs and plans for Performance clients
Provide active voice in communication optimization strategies, proactively communicating challenges and opportunities
Serve as senior client contact for all channel needs, delegating day to day responsibilities to team, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
Leads channel specific inputs for all New Business pitches, as well as being the initial client lead of all New Business onboarding inside Paid Social
Able to educate and explain the role of Paid Social in service of client’s objectives
A supporter of and advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion
Preferred Skills & Experience
Degree in marketing, social media marketing, digital marketing preferred
9+ years of related work experience in online advertising environments (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.)
Strong client-facing voice and experience being a client and team lead in Paid Social
Proficiency with Excel and Forecasting
Direct hands-on experience in online advertising environments having directly managed a high volume of paid social buys (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) preferred, but not required
Trouble-Shooting skills related to Social platforms, Ads APIs and New Product releases
Certificates, licenses and registrations
