THE ROLE

As an RFP Manager/Writer, you support the Business Development, Sales and Account Management teams. Your chief responsibility is leading the response to RFI’s, RFP’s, financial proposals and interview presentations.

You will become a subject matter expert across a wide variety of wireless technologies (5G, Private 5G, Wi-Fi, ERRCS), responding to verticals in both the public (airports, transportation, military, DoD) and private (sports and entertainment, healthcare, commercial real estate) space.

You’ll need strategic thinking and curiosity in abundance, as wireless technology and its myriad applications change fast. As is typical in RFP life, you will often be juggling multiple projects and deadlines. This is a fast-paced role where big-picture ideas are as important as getting the smallest details right.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with Business Development, Sales and Account Management to craft a strategic approach for each project. Use insights, analysis and bast practices from winning proposals to guide your approach to each response.
• Work cross functionally with Business Development, Sales, Product, Solution Design, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Creative Services to gather information for RFPs/proposals, ensuring each proposal is submitted in a timely manner.
• Write compelling copy in the Boingo brand voice that translates Boingo’s expertise into winning RFP’s.
• Ensure all details of proposals and RFPs are accurate and complete.
• Manage delivery logistics and vendors for RFPs and proposals.
• Track and deliver reporting on RFP and proposal key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct competitor research as needed for specific RFP responses.
• Submit requests for and analyze FOIAs received.

IS THIS YOU?

• You have experience writing RFP’s, pitch decks and proposals and understand what separates a good RFP response from a great one. AMPM Certification preferred.
• You possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills for a variety of audiences.
• You deliver incredible internal customer service to the teams you support. Our culture is warm, collaborate, friendly, and supportive. We expect this from everyone on our team.
• You can juggle multiple projects, stay organized and prioritize deadlines with ease.
• You have a strong interest in wireless technologies. Experience is not required, but curiosity and a love for learning new things is a must!
• You have strong Word and PowerPoint skills. Loopio experience a plus.
• You enjoy working alongside a team to hit ambitious goals.
• You think big picture yet have superior attention to detail.
• A bachelor’s degree or significant relevant experience is required.
