Full-stack Tech Lead

Job Title: Full-stack Tech Lead

Level: Staff Engineer +

Location: Austin, TX (hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced full stack engineer who has successfully led cross functional teams, preferably in a startup environment to help build and scale a video sharing and collaboration platform.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a small team of engineers to develop and maintain a video sharing platform

2. Work with leadership in setting requirements and develop a long-term roadmap

3. Propose and implement efficient development workflows for the team

4. Support cross functional teams including external vendors

5. Create a culture of sound engineering practices, maintainable code, and technical design reviews

6. Mentor junior engineers

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Proven track record of full stack technical leadership, product development cycles, and deployment and release management of complex web applications

2. Experience with Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks

3. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)

4. 7+ years of experience of full-stack development

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with machine learning tools and techniques

2. Experience releasing products in regulated environments

3. Experience with data security, privacy and compliance

4. Experience in building and/or scaling video sharing platforms
