This role will support the Cardiac Surgery R&D organization, consisting of a dynamic team of engineers, scientist and technicians working on therapies focused on treatment of heart valve disease, coronary artery disease, cardiac arrhythmias and cardio/respiratory failures.

A Day in the Life:
• Provides general administrative support including preparing communications and maintaining schedules.
• Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; arranging meetings and conferences; Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisor’s assignment.
• Administers inter-department or inter-unit programs or processes.
• Ordering of supplies and materials for the department
• May be responsible for coordinating travel and submitting expenses.

Must Have:
• 4+ years of experience required

Nice to Have:
• Experience of working in a busy administrative role
• Meetings, Calendar, travel Organizations and Expense report creation
• Strong computer skills (MS Office and Outlook). Concur, Ariba is an asset
• Excellent Communications and Organizational skills
• Problem Solving mind set with high attention to detail
• Proven record to manage multiple tasks and react adequately to changing priorities and last-minute changes in a busy environment
• Self-motivated and the ability to work on your own initiative

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$54,800.00 - $82,200.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
