Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of underwriting and insurance industry theories and practices.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and similar business-related software.
Responsibilities
  • Possess fundamental knowledge of inland marine coverages with extensive experience in key lines of business including but not limited to Builders Risk, Contractors Equipment, Installation, Property, and Transportation/Logistics offerings.
  • Review applications and supporting documentation for a wide range of individual risks, determining acceptability of risk and adequate pricing based on various factors.
  • Efficiently manage the communication required to review submissions, gather information, and prepare quotes.
  • Drive top & bottom-line results by line of business, engaging with other internal business units to drive results across the organization.
  • Market products through in-person and virtual visits, selling and negotiating on behalf of CNA.
  • Utilize relevant CNA systems to perform day-to-day activities along with Microsoft Suite and similar programs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Professional designations preferred.
  • Ideally, minimum seven to ten years Inland Marine underwriting experience.
