Requirements
  • Previous mechanical quoting experience.
  • Experience in the automotive repair industry or tire industry is an asset.
  • Effective listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of passenger, light truck, and specialty tires and mechanical services.
  • A valid driver's license and a satisfactory passenger or commercial driver's abstract.
  • Customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take pride in the work.
Responsibilities
  • Create work orders, arrange bookings, and communicate them to technicians.
  • Provide service quotes, receive customer authorization for vehicle work, finalize sales, and complete customer follow-up.
  • Make proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction with the service received.
  • Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel service, and mechanical service to customers.
  • Ensure products are billed accurately and process necessary information in the computer system.
  • Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
  • Participate in required or assigned safety initiatives for customers and staff on the road, at the site, or in the field.
  • Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhere to standards and policies described in the learning modules.
  • Assist with inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts.
