- Must safely handle a variety of chemicals.

- Provide customer service to residents, partners, and guests.
- Take ownership of nursing neighborhoods while working in them.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing department to serve residents.
- Prepare and set up menu items according to standards.
- Serve hot and cold food items, condiments, utensils, and other items onto trays on a moving tray line according to tray tickets and menu spreadsheets.
- Restock the cafeteria and other areas with food and supplies in a courteous and timely manner.
- Serve meals to residents in a courteous and timely manner.
- Scrape dirty trays and dishes and load and unload the dish machine.
- Hand wash pots, pans, and other designated items.
- Maintain kitchen facilities, including floors, walls, equipment, and utensils, in a sanitary manner.
- Educate employees about the safe handling of chemicals.
- Assist in the kitchen where needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate and cooperate with dietary personnel and other departments.
- Interact positively with residents, family members, personnel, and visitors under varied conditions and circumstances.
