  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is required; other degrees may be considered with relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in engineering, architecture, or forensic investigations is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation are required.
  • The role requires the ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • The role requires willingness to climb ladders and scaffolding, access crawl spaces, walk roofs, and work from heights.
  • The role requires comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct investigations and assessments, preparing accurate technical reports and repair documentation under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and support project scheduling and coordination.
  • Assist in developing repair designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Support senior staff with technical research, report writing, and project execution.
  • Mentor and guide Staff Engineers and Interns as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Engineering Intern certification or successful completion of the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering examination.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Prior design and/or forensic investigation experience.
