Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, economics, or a related field is required. An associate degree is acceptable with at least two additional years of directly relevant experience and clear evidence of shipped engineering work.
  • At least three years of experience in consulting or other client-facing technical delivery roles is required, including evidence of moving products, internal tools, or workflow systems beyond the proof-of-concept stage.
  • At least three years of hands-on experience is required in one or more of backend services, application programming interfaces and integrations, full-stack delivery, data pipelines, model-serving or machine-learning workflows, or agentic orchestration systems.
  • Strong coding ability in Python plus one complementary engineering surface such as TypeScript or JavaScript, front-end delivery, cloud or platform engineering, or infrastructure automation is required.
  • Experience with several enterprise-hardening and evaluation areas is required, including authentication, role-based access control, observability, security, release discipline, regression testing, or experiment frameworks for artificial intelligence, machine learning, or agentic workflows.
Responsibilities
  • Turn quantitative prototypes into reusable tools, services, packaged desktop applications, interfaces, and workflow products that can progress from internal demonstration to client pilot to scaled offering.
  • Ship across cloud-hosted services and locally distributed desktop applications, including Electron-based applications when required by the workflow or client environment.
  • Build enterprise hardening into the productization layer, including authentication, role-based access control, observability, security, release quality, cost controls, and deployment discipline.
  • Build evaluation, regression, and release discipline into the productization layer so model logic and agent behavior remain measurable as systems change.
  • Work closely with the quant lead to preserve model logic, evaluation intent, and governance requirements during production implementation.
  • Make architecture choices across large language models, deterministic rules, and hybrid systems based on value, latency, cost, and reliability.
  • Help shape repeatable build patterns so prototypes become faster, more reliable, and more reusable over time.
  • Own data flows, application programming interfaces, services, model-serving surfaces, front-end and desktop application surfaces, continuous integration and continuous delivery, and demo hardening.
  • Build systems that make quantitative work polished, reliable, and enterprise-ready for expert users and client stakeholders.
  • Own the agentic harness layer, including evaluation frameworks, reviewer loops, control-plane behavior, orchestration, and tool integration.
  • Design opinionated harnesses exposed through model context protocol or similar integration patterns without overfitting to one vendor or tooling moment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with tool-using systems, retrieval, evaluation pipelines, agent orchestration, or model context protocol-style integrations.
  • Experience building expert-facing interfaces, workflow products, or technical demonstrations that stood up in front of real users.
  • Experience packaging desktop applications or supporting Windows-heavy enterprise environments.
  • Exposure to forecasting, anomaly detection, optimization, time-series systems, or other decision-support workflows.
  • Experience in energy, commodities, financial, trading, market operations, or industrial workflows.

Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The company has also launched Accenture Edge, targeting mid-market companies. The stock is down 24.3% over the past year.

Accenture and 2 dividend stocks offering 5%+ yields backed by growing cash flows

Central banks in Asia and Europe are tightening policy, yet cash deposits offer limited returns. This creates opportunities for dividend-focused investors seeking reliable income streams. Three stocks from the Dividend Powerhouses screener currently offer yields above 5% with covered, growing payouts. The screener identifies 1,851 companies with compelling dividend profiles. Accenture, a global consulting and technology services firm, offers a 3.48% yield backed by strong free cash flow. The company generates revenue primarily from Products clients (US$22.3 billion), Health & Public Service (US$14.9 billion), and Financial Services (US$13.8 billion). Its market capitalisation stands at approximately US$111 billion. The firm is reshaping itself for the AI era through acquisitions and partnerships with Google Cloud and ServiceNow. Key risks include whether AI and slower IT spending will reshape consulting economics faster than Accenture can adjust.
