Requirements

  • Strong understanding of solar energy technology, project financing, and permitting processes.

  • Proven track record of successfully bringing projects to completion within budget and on time.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and assess potential solar project sites, considering factors like solar resource potential, land availability, grid interconnection feasibility, and permitting requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to analyze project viability and potential financial returns
  • Secure land rights and negotiate lease agreements with landowners.
  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Develop project financing plans and secure investors.
  • Manage the procurement of solar equipment and materials.
  • Oversee the engineering and design of the solar energy system
  • Work with contractors to ensure efficient and safe construction of the solar project.
  • Manage project budget and timelines.
  • Oversee inspections and ensure the project meets all technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage post-construction activities like system testing, commissioning, and grid interconnection.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landowners, investors, government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate project details and progress to stakeholders.
  • Advocate for the benefits of solar energy and educate the public about renewable energy solutions.
  • Coordinate and manage the interconnection application and study processes to secure the IA
  • Help identify the PPA offtakers and negotiate the PPA with local utilities and corporate buyers
  • Pursue the RTB project opportunities and lead in the joint development agreement and SPA negotiation
