Amentum is now hiring for a Data Warehouse Analyst (All Levels) – CSIA position in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within CSIA.

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:
- Analyzes, organizes, and maintains stored user data for later retrieval from the data warehouse.
- Provides data analysis; identifies and troubleshoots data, hardware, and software-related issues within the data warehouse environment as well as source systems; recommends methods to maximize database design effectiveness; and provides reports as required.
- Analyzes business intelligence and user data and creates data organization models for approval and transition from testing and development to production.
- Optimizes relational databases and recommends tools to optimize data quality and access.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of complex data storage structures needed to support data warehouse functions, and assures data is accurate and maintained in consistent formats.
- Determines business information needs, and identifies system requirements, key performance indicators, and methods for data warehouse to assist with operational and strategic planning.
- Liaises between information technology and business units.
- Maintains relationships with users to identify and develop additional data sources for the data warehouse, consistent with business rules and customer needs.
- Trains and assists users, managers, and technical staff regarding access, use, and storage of data.
- Assists others in various methods of communicating with user groups regarding changes in local networks and databases that report information to the data warehouse.
- Recommends strategies and updates to the data warehouse systems in response to changes in organization and government reporting requirements and other regulations.
- Assists in project management affecting the data warehouse.
- Analyzes, reviews, forecasts, trends, and presents information for operational and business planning.
- Supports short- and long-term operational/strategic business activities by developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational information and models.
- Develops and implements effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.
- Identify requirements of data warehouse.
- Plan, design, schedule and coordinate data warehouse analysis, design, development, and deployment.
- Design end user interface including reporting.
- Develop best practices for data loading and extraction into and out of the data warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
- 1-10+ years of experience.
- 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
Compensation:
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $225,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
