Requirements
  • Three years of installation experience with combined commercial kitchen equipment and/or heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment, including rooftop units and chillers.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must complete a satisfactory background check and drug screen.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that aligns with the company's safety standards.
  • Ability to lead and/or work within a team.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
  • Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and lift equipment.
  • Ability to perform repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.
  • Ability to work safely around electrical, steam, and high-heat units using required safety equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide customer equipment installation for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and commercial kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, and freezers.
  • Mentor, lead, and motivate team members in a safe, productive, and efficient manner.
  • Install commercial kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Design and fabricate various ducts and duct fittings as required.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members regarding repairs and status updates.
  • Communicate part orders with the branch.
  • Document parts, work orders, timesheets, and other tasks accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Travel extensively each day to work-site locations.
  • Work in high- and low-temperature environments, including heated kitchens, rooftops, and outdoor locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Contractor, journeyman, or heating, ventilation, air conditioning certification.

  • Strong attention to detail.
