- 12 to 16 years of Informatica ETL development experience
- At least 4 years of experience as Informatica ETL Architect
- At least 8-10 years of experience with Informatica in a Developer/Tech Lead role
- Mastery in data warehousing concepts
- Strong SQL skills in an Oracle partitioned environment
- Experience in Oracle database programming using partitioning, materialized views and OLAP
- Experience in tuning Oracle queries/processes and performance management tools
- Informatica PowerCenter 8.x and above (9.1 preferred)
- Informatica tools such as PowerExchange and Data Quality (as part of tools & technologies)
- Proficient in scheduling tools such as Tivoli, Autosys, or Ctrl-M may be considered
- Healthcare payer data warehousing knowledge is preferred
- Lead ETL architecture and design as well as data flow diagramming
- Define and implement ETL development standards and procedures
- Ensure ETL quality through code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Develop a technical work plan and assign work and coordinate across multiple developers and projects
- Assess requirements and define strategy, technical architecture, implementation plan and delivery of data warehouse projects
- Communicate effectively with management and executives; lead teams and coordinate with stakeholders
- Establish long-term strategy and short-term scope for a multi-phased data warehouse effort
- Speak to and understand how healthcare systems work without being hands-on
- Lead teams and work with management and executives
- Cognos and Business Objects experience preferred
- Knowledge of Health Care Insurance Payer Data Warehousing preferred
- Healthcare domain experience in payer data warehousing preferred
