Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in a control center, dispatch center, or operations center is required.
  • A California Class C license or equivalent is required.
  • The ability to obtain North American Electric Reliability Corporation/Critical Infrastructure Protection clearance is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with resolving immediate security concerns, including security events, law enforcement information requests, incidents, and alarms.
  • Standardize and automate access control processes in partnership with Line of Business contacts.
  • Support North American Electric Reliability Corporation/Critical Infrastructure Protection, Sarbanes-Oxley, and other regulatory compliance initiatives involving access control procedures, database activities, and Critical Infrastructure Protection background-check requirements.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Security personnel, law enforcement, and Line of Business stakeholders on information and data requests related to security operations, investigations, compliance activities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and acknowledge alarms and security systems, ensuring appropriate escalation and coordination of security responses.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, federal, and state regulations.
  • Support the composition and proofreading of correspondence and documents and compile data for standard reports.
  • Respond to data requests related to incident investigations, compliance and regulatory audits, and customer inquiries.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Military or law enforcement experience is preferred.
  • Previous security dispatch experience is preferred.
  • Leadership experience in security operations centers or related environments is preferred.
  • North American Electric Reliability Corporation certification is preferred.
