Requirements
  • Seven or more years of experience as a Release Train Engineer.
  • Predictable, sustainable delivery of technology products through strong Planning Interval readiness, dependency and risk management, and high-signal reporting.
  • Continuous, sustainable delivery of business value through stable cadence and predictable execution.
  • Planning Interval planning that produces clear objectives, visible dependencies, and ROAM risks with ownership maintained throughout the Planning Interval.
  • Transparent Planning Interval execution using train-level metrics, including objective completion, business value delivered, cycle time, quality signals, and risk and dependency posture.
  • Publishing and maintaining the annual Planning Interval and iteration calendar and scheduling Planning Interval cadence logistics at least one month in advance.
  • Ensuring the Program Kanban exists and supports planning and visibility.
  • Ensuring deliverables and epics exist in Jira or Jira Align, upcoming epics meet the Definition of Ready, and business value is assigned where required.
  • Ensuring Definitions of Ready and Done exist for epics and preventing unprioritized or unready epics from entering the Planning Interval.
  • Coordinating readiness across product managers, product owners, Scrum Masters, architects, technology management, and release management, and confirming business-owner or executive participation.
  • Facilitating Planning Interval planning end-to-end, including business context, vision and roadmap, architecture vision and practices, planning context, team breakouts, draft and final plan review, ROAM risks, confidence vote, and planning retrospective.
  • Driving presenter readiness, timeboxing, parking-lot capture, and decision visibility during Planning Interval planning.
  • Designing distributed Planning Interval planning agendas for time zones, defining breakout single points of contact, enforcing working agreements, and ensuring outcomes are digitally captured and visible.
  • Facilitating train-level routines such as Scrum of Scrums, Product Owner Sync, Product Development Team Sync, System Demo, and Inspect and Adapt or retrospective.
  • Tracking and communicating Planning Interval health through objective completion, business value delivered, cycle time, velocity trends where applicable, defect density, dependency management, and risk posture.
Responsibilities
  • Guide and coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in the Agile Release Train on Agile practices and Agile principles.
  • Execute Planning Interval sessions for the release train and facilitate Agile Release Train ceremonies.
  • Provide stakeholders and leadership with status updates on Agile Release Train plans, delivery, timelines, and impediments, while communicating within the train to support delivery against program commitments.
  • Manage risk through dependency management, impediment removal, and compliance with Enterprise Change Management and other policy requirements.
  • Measure Agile Release Train delivery, maturity, and performance and review metrics with the train to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the product management team and ensure the program has a healthy product and program backlog.
  • Define and enforce norms and agreements for the Agile Release Train.
  • Serve as Release Train Engineer for Technology Infrastructure and remain accountable for how an approximately 18-team train prepares for and executes the Planning Interval.
  • Facilitate Planning Interval planning and train-level routines, enable transparency and metrics-driven execution, optimize end-to-end flow of value, and drive continuous improvement through disciplined follow-through.
  • Maintain continuous Planning Interval-cadence work, beginning preparation for the next Planning Interval as soon as planning for the current one is complete and continuing it in parallel with current execution.
Desired Qualifications
  • One or more years of AI experience, preferably utilizing CoPilot.
  • Expertise facilitating Planning Interval planning and train-level routines, including timeboxing, neutrality, and decision-making.
  • Strong fluency with Jira, Jira Align, program boards, and dashboards, together with data-quality discipline.
  • Ability to run an evidence-based operating rhythm using metrics and dashboards to drive outcomes and improvement actions.
  • Deep competency in dependency and risk management, including ROAM, and proactive impediment removal at scale.
  • Strong coaching across Scrum Master, product owner, product manager, and architect partners to improve planning discipline and execution flow.
  • Ability to operate in governed environments involving controls, compliance, and change controls without unnecessarily slowing flow.
  • Experience facilitating distributed Planning Interval planning across time zones, breakout single points of contact, and working agreements.
  • Expertise designing distributed and hybrid Planning Interval planning and train routines with clear working agreements, breakout single points of contact, digital decision capture, high engagement, and crisp outcomes.
  • Ability to integrate controls and compliance needs into the cadence through ready gates, evidence expectations, and release-readiness checkpoints while preserving flow and transparency.

IDEX extends $800M credit facility maturity to 2031

IDEX Corporation has amended its revolving credit facility, extending the maturity date to September 3, 2031, from the previous November 1, 2027. The facility maintains its $800 million principal amount. The agreement, finalised on September 3, 2026, allows for up to $100 million in letters of credit and $50 million in same-day swingline loans. IDEX may request additional lending commitments, capped at a $400 million increase. Bank of America serves as administrative agent, with JPMorgan Chase Bank, PNC Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank as co-syndication agents. The proceeds will fund working capital and general corporate purposes, including refinancing existing debt. The agreement includes standard covenants for senior unsecured credit facilities, featuring a quarterly-tested leverage ratio and restrictions on liens and mergers. Voluntary prepayments are permitted without penalty.

Anthropic secures $15B credit facility, expects $65B revenue ahead of IPO

Anthropic, the developer behind Claude AI chatbot, has secured a $15 billion credit facility ahead of its initial public offering. Major financial institutions including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup are backing the arrangement. The facility significantly exceeds last year's $2.5 billion loan and surpasses the company's roughly $10 billion target. Anthropic now expects over $65 billion in annualised revenue, representing more than a sevenfold increase from its pace at the end of last year. Additional banks including Barclays and Bank of America have joined the arrangement. The timing coincides with renewed activity in the US IPO market, positioning Anthropic for a substantial market debut.

Bank of America sets $600 target for Dell after $95B AI server backlog reveals 41% upside

Dell Technologies reported $60.9 billion in AI-server orders during its fiscal second quarter, with revenue of $16.4 billion and a backlog reaching $95 billion. The backlog grew 85% sequentially from $51.3 billion the previous quarter. Bank of America analyst Wamsi Mohan raised his price target to $600 from $505, implying 41% upside from Dell's revised goal of $425 set on 1 September. Mohan maintains a Buy rating. Dell has converted $131.7 billion of AI demand into orders over the past 12 months. Its AI customer count jumped from about 5,000 to over 6,500 in one quarter. The company raised its fiscal 2027 AI server sales projection to $74 billion from $60 billion. It also increased its full-year total sales outlook midpoint by $25 billion to $192 billion.

Digi International expands credit facility to $350M with improved terms and lower borrowing costs

Digi International has expanded its senior secured revolving credit facility to $350 million, up from $250 million. The Internet of Things products and services provider also increased its accordion feature, giving it access to total potential borrowing capacity of up to $480 million. The new facility, maturing in August 2031, features improved pricing with SOFR margins ranging from 125 to 262.5 basis points, compared to 135 to 310 basis points previously. The maximum total net leverage ratio covenant increased from 3.0x to 3.50x, providing additional flexibility for strategic acquisitions. BMO Bank serves as administrative agent, with BMO Capital Markets and Bank of America as joint bookrunners. Digi may use borrowings for working capital, capital expenditures, acquisitions, and general corporate purposes.
