The University of Vermont Health Network coordinates a group of hospitals and affiliated clinics across northern New York and Vermont to deliver patient care close to where people live. It combines community hospital services with academic medicine, sharing knowledge and resources to offer access to advanced technology and treatment options. Care is delivered through coordinated networks rather than isolated institutions, with teams across hospitals working together to treat patients cost-effectively and compassionately. The network’s goal is to improve patients’ lives by providing high-quality care near home, supported by the expertise of the University of Vermont Colleges of Medicine and Nursing and Health Sciences.
