Job Description
As an Account Supervisor, you will be an integral member of the Account Services team, providing support and assistance in managing the client’s business and ensuring that day to day activities run smoothly. The role is part of a larger integrated team, encompassing other Account teams, Creative, Production, Media and Strategy. The Account Supervisor sets the tone for how the account is managed by driving focus on key client objectives, actively contributing to those objectives, supporting the Account Director and other account leads in day-to-day activities, and guiding the day-to-day workload of Account Coordinators and Account Executives on the team.
Core Responsibilities
- Support Account Director and wider team with general client liaison and administration; builds project estimates/briefs, client contact reports, work back schedules, etc.
- Coordinate creative and production teams dedicated to the projects, providing leadership and structure to tactical execution & launch.
- Establish and maintain positive and trusting working relationships with all clients and agency stakeholders, and partner with internal cross-functional teams to deliver proactive solutions where needed
- Oversee the internal team’s day-to-day progress, and provide guidance and support to ensure each project is executed seamlessly from initiation to completion
- Develop strategies and tactics to prepare presentations for clients showcasing your innovative ideas and solid tactical rationale
- Prepare thoughtful points-of-view around competitive and industry activity
- Participate in new business pitches and opportunities
- Manage budgets and profitability and work closely with the finance team on invoicing
Qualifications
- University degree in advertising, communications, or marketing
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in similar work function (team/stakeholder management experience preferred)
- Automotive, and Automotive Retail experience is a bonus
- Highly adaptable and able to perform in a dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities
- Comfortable working independently with strong organizational skills; Quick learner and detail oriented
- Proficient using Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams…)
- Experience with project management software and experience manager platforms is a bonus.
