VML Luxembourg
VML Luxembourg is one of the leading Amazon consulting agencies in Europe. The opportunity:
As a Junior Key Account Manager, you will support client relations and contribute to the success of VML and our client’s business. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the tracking and monitoring of our clients’ Amazon business, providing support for channel-specific challenges, and managing day-to-day operational tasks.
You will work closely with experienced Key Account Managers to help manage client accounts, facilitate daily interactions with clients and internal VML departments, and contribute to the implementation of Amazon performance and strategy plans. In this role, you will learn to identify opportunities for growth, assist in addressing client challenges, and deliver excellent service that reflects the values of VML. This is a dynamic position that offers the opportunity to build foundational skills in account management, data analysis, and project coordination while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with client engagements and participate in strategy discussions.
- Provide support as an on-call consultant for basic Amazon challenges via email, calls, and meetings.
- Help implement Amazon strategies for clients under the guidance of senior team members.
- Utilize reporting dashboards and spreadsheets to gather data and assist in creating actionable insights.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing strategies, such as content marketing, price promotions, and budget allocation, to boost sales for clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify new opportunities for clients and contribute to resolving client issues.
- Assist in preparing materials for client meetings, including quarterly business reviews and regular reporting calls.
- Stay informed about industry news and trends to support recommendations for clients.
What we want from you:
You prove deep knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Using data and metrics to measure impact, determine improvements and identify opportunities for clients’ growth and new services
- First experience in account management, e-commerce, or a similar role (internships or 1-2 years of experience preferred).
- A basic understanding of Amazon’s marketplace and e-commerce principles is seen as a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to build strong client relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment with diverse perspectives.
- Interest in developing marketing strategies, including content marketing and promotions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in account management, sales, or business development (internships included).
- Basic project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and stay organized.
- Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn from challenges.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage.
- EU working permit.
