Requirements
  • 6 months or more of sales or service experience
  • Located in Austin/Round Rock area and able to go to the Round Rock office Tuesday-Thursday
  • Confident communicator with experience in speaking with managers, executives, and customers via phone, email, and social media
  • Track record of success in a goal-oriented environment
  • Creative and self-starter with a desire to help people see problems in a new light
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with email cadence/template development
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS and analytics is a plus
  • Prior sales training and experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
  • Ability to use or learn to use modern sales prospecting tools like ZoomInfo, SalesLoft/Outreach, and LinkedIn SalesNavigator, Drift chat
Responsibilities
  • Strategize with Commercial Sales Executives and reach out to Mid-Market and Fortune 1000 companies
  • Provide valued insights and stories showcasing Actian technology and unique value proposition
  • Prospect new business and continually learn new skills for future senior sales roles
  • Utilize cutting-edge sales and prospecting tools to plan and connect with prospective customers
  • Identify and prioritize accounts likely to generate revenue based on territory
  • Engage with key decision makers and adapt messaging to different stakeholders
  • Qualify prospects and document information into a sales plan in Salesforce.com
  • Contribute to key messaging and content development to drive repeatability against Ideal Customer Profile and Targeted Personas
  • Achieve qualified meeting/opportunity creation quota and productivity goals for territory
  • Manage an organized territory plan and maintain Salesforce.com with precision
