  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required
  • Consulting firm/industry experience preferred
  • 5-10+ years of experience in an IT architecture/engineering role covering areas like cloud computing (required), Windows/Linux, servers, virtualization, or networking
  • Experience leading AWS, Azure, and/or GCP 'on-prem to cloud' migration projects
  • Proficient with Infra-as-Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or ARM templates
  • Confident communication, presentation, and team leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel for out of town client engagements - COVID-19 permitting

  • Collaborate with both West Monroe consultants and client leadership to architect, build, and deploy secure cloud & IT infrastructure solutions that improve business operations
  • Assess current state processes and IT environments, interview stakeholders, gather/define requirements, and recommend viable solutions and strategies
  • Develop migration plans and strategies to optimize or enhance cloud services, cloud-based applications, IT systems, networking capabilities, and/or cybersecurity posture
  • Make key decisions regarding project direction including vendor selections, team workstreams, and methodology
  • Act as career advisor/mentor and coach junior consultants on cloud computing best practices
  • Contribute to practice development and Center of Excellence meetings
