Joint and Allied Capabilities Analyst

As a Joint and Allied Capabilities Analyst, you’ll bring your strategic and analytical background to work on projects for the Department of Defense. Your research and analytical skills will bolster execution of Department of Defense experimentation priorities, and will help develop joint and allied doctrine, concepts, and assessments that prepare the Joint Force. You’ll prepare principals for engagements with international partners and interagency leaders. You’ll apply your excellent writing and briefing skills to projects supporting executive-level clients. You’ll impact the work we do for the Joint Force and the solutions we deliver to enhance Joint Force development.

You Have: 

• 2+ years of experience working for the Department of Defense

• Experience drafting materials for senior executive leadership, including read-aheads and talking points for bilateral and multilateral engagements

• Knowledge of joint force development processes, to include wargaming and experimentation

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with senior military and civilian leaders

• Ability to help manage multi-stakeholder forums and capture key outputs for senior leaders

• Ability to work independently and to collate disparate information to create project plans

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience working on a joint staff 

• Experience with event planning and coordination

• Master’s degree in Security Studies, International Affairs, or Public Policy

• Project Management Professional certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
