  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, aerospace, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, and/or capture, preferably with exposure to the aerospace & defense industry.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and booking revenue in a government-driven market, preferably space and/or aerospace.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and persuasion skills, honed through client-facing roles and engagements.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key defense prime accounts, including new accounts and footprint expansion within existing accounts, to deeply understand customer needs and priorities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to win complex, enterprise deals requiring multiple touch points across customer organizations.
  • Understand customer needs, develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close agreements.

Apex Space manufactures spacecraft, focusing on ESPA class satellites that weigh between 40 to 400 kilograms.
