About the Job

The Social Media Intern will report to the Director of Global Communications and be responsible for supporting the Communications Team in daily tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the communications team in projects and daily tasks, including updating and maintaining media page, content creation for social media, announcement planning and execution, and writing for PR and internal communications
• Exhibit a high level of professionalism and creative thinking
• Show a strong desire to learn along with a drive to succeed in assigned tasks

• Must have a strong desire to learn and professional drive to succeed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be personable and dependable
• Familiarity with drafting internal and/or external communications content including social media posts, videos, and blog posts
• Experience creating engaging social media content
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to assist in administrative duties including updating media page on website
• Interest in learning social media and traditional media analytics and performance metrics
