Responsibilities
  • Knowledgeably applies CPT-4 to Infusion Coding and Emergency Department performed for the sites that are covered by the department.
  • Coding of surgical procedures performed by cardiologists, and interventional radiologists
  • Use of 3M and other references
  • Maintains appropriate non-leading queries to physicians
  • Ability to abstract services from physician documentation and procedure logs.
  • Managing multiple job tasks daily (WQs, emails, etc.)
