Requirements
- A current registered nurse license in Maryland or an active license in a Nurse Licensure Compact state is required.
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification is required.
- Two years of recent nursing experience are required.
- Ultrasound-guided intravenous access and peripherally inserted central catheter line experience are required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, Johns Hopkins Health System policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Provide direction to and manage other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
- Work collaboratively with and provide leadership for a multidisciplinary health care team to support quality, safety, and excellence in care program initiatives.
- Participate in clinical, financial, and operational improvement initiatives that support, protect, and promote the area of specialty.
- Implement initiatives in the area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.
- Foster a clinical environment of service excellence.
