- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in related industry or environment
- 5+ years of experience in Solidworks
- Experience with small electronics and or lighting fixtures
- Hands-on approach to leadership and problem solving
- Strong project management abilities
- Demonstrated leadership throughout career
- Oversee two Engineers and two Designers, between Michigan and New York locations
- Project Manage incoming work; maintain project schedule, problem solve throughout process, delegate tasks to maintain efficiency
- Act as liaison between leadership and engineers and designers
- Develop and implement Continuous Improvement strategies
- Maintain hands-on approach throughout product design and development process; serve as a working manager
- Work within Oracle PLM software
