Requirements
  • Associate degree with 2 years of Electroneurodiagnostics experience OR Electroneurodiagnostics technology training program (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) Accredited) OR graduation from an American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) approved Electroneurodiagnostics (END) training program and 6 months post internship experience.
  • BLS from American Heart Association.
  • American Board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostics (ABRET) registry eligible.
Responsibilities
  • Perform connections using collodion (adhesive) for all the Continuous Electroencephalogram (CEEG) and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit phase I studies (EMU).
  • Conduct long-term monitoring of EEG signals with scalp (CEEG) and EMU phase II studies with depth and cortical electrodes on inpatient floors.
  • Perform Ambulatory Electroencephalogram (AEEG), routine inpatient and outpatient Electroencephalograph (REEG), and Polysomnogram (Sleep) as well as related Clinical Neurophysiology recordings in assigned Clinical areas as directed.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
