Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in technical implementation, solutions delivery, technical program management, or solutions consulting for a B2B SaaS platform, or an equivalent track record of owning complex technical delivery end-to-end.
  • Proven ability to take ambiguous, rule-heavy client requirements and turn them into shipped, working solutions.
  • Working technical fluency, including the ability to read an API specification, reason about integrations and data flows, understand configuration-driven platform architecture, and participate effectively in engineering design conversations.
  • Comfort with technical concepts including JSON, SQL, web services, and application logs.
  • Ability to manage risks, dependencies, critical paths, and go-live readiness; use Jira or similar tools to track work, document ownership, and surface blockers; and provide updates that drive decisions and action.
  • Ability to lead deployment calls with state agency teams, handle technical questions in real time, and build client confidence.
  • Skill in managing trade-off conversations involving scope versus timeline, custom versus platform, and immediate delivery versus long-term correctness.
  • Daily, fluent use of AI tools for documentation, analysis, planning, communication drafting, and research.
  • Ability to build trust quickly, communicate proactively, follow through on commitments, and work effectively across teams.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Engineering to translate client business rules, statutory requirements, and technical constraints into scalable platform solutions rather than one-off builds.
  • Perform platform configuration hands-on and use configuration fluency to inform solution design and delivery decisions.
  • Pressure-test proposed solutions for reusability by identifying opportunities to turn client-specific requests into platform-level capabilities.
  • Develop and manage implementation timelines end-to-end, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and go-live readiness criteria.
  • Track project status, risks, dependencies, issue mitigation, and go-live dates, maintaining a trusted single source of truth for internal teams and clients.
  • Provide clear, decision-ready updates to internal leadership and client stakeholders, calibrated to each audience.
  • Lead client technical and deployment calls with Engineering support as the primary technical delivery voice with state agency stakeholders.
  • Translate platform behavior into business terms and client requirements into engineering terms.
  • Manage scope, expectations, and trade-off conversations directly with clients when requirements, timelines, and platform capabilities are in tension.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Support, and Client Operations on financial setup, launch readiness, and post-launch handoff.
  • Ensure post-launch ownership is unambiguous by assigning owners for every workflow, escalation path, and support process before handoff.
  • Build tools, playbooks, reporting cadences, and process improvements that create a repeatable delivery operating model for DMV services.
  • Codify implementation learnings so subsequent deliveries become faster, cheaper, and lower risk.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company, client, and citizen data in accordance with business conduct and information security policies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Government, financial services, healthcare, or other regulated-industry experience.
  • GovTech, public-sector, or DMV/motor-vehicle domain experience, including familiarity with agency stakeholder dynamics or statutory business rules.
  • Experience designing AI-enabled workflows, including reusable prompts, automations, custom GPTs, agents, assistants, or AI-assisted processes used by others.
  • Payments, financial reconciliation, or fintech delivery experience.
  • Hands-on experience with low-code automation platforms, scripting, or SQL for self-serve analysis.
  • Experience establishing delivery operations at a scaling company.

PayIt partners with the Rockland County Clerk's Office to modernize and expand digital services.

PayIt partners with the Rockland County Clerk's Office to modernize and expand digital services. Cara Schwartzkopf April 7, 2026 Kansas City, Missouri, April 7, 2026 - PayIt, the leader in digital customer experience solutions for state and local governments, is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the Rockland County Clerk's Office to improve how residents access and pay for county services. This multi-year agreement delivers PayIt's cloud-based platform to Rockland County, New York, providing a modern digital experience that prioritizes security, convenience, and accessibility. The new PayIt platform will allow residents to complete Clerk Office filings, access records, and submit payments from any device, reducing paperwork, simplifying or eliminating office visits, and improving overall access. Beyond an improved user interface and experience, PayIt will also deliver a significant reduction in resident transaction fees compared to the previous system. The new system, built with PayIt's configurable platform, meets compliance and regulatory standards to deliver the highest level of protection to the Clerk's Office and the customers they serve. Previously, Rockland County relied on a single credit card payment option using a magnetic stripe reader, which required staff to physically take a customer's card, swipe it, and manually enter the information. The new platform simplifies the payments process, improving the experience for residents and streamlining staff operations. "As a part of our ongoing mission to serve our community, we are pleased to partner with PayIt and to provide a convenient, user-friendly experience to our residents," said Donna Silberman, Rockland County Clerk. "This partnership will allow us to expand services, reduce barriers to access, and build a modern government experience that grows with our community and its needs." The multi-year partnership will enable PayIt and Rockland County to continue to modernize, expand features, and enhance services based on resident needs, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. "We are excited to partner with Rockland County to usher in a new era of excellent resident experience and service via PayIt's world-class platform. Donna Silberman and the entire Clerk's Office staff have shown an ongoing commitment to finding innovative ways to better serve the public, and our secure, convenient platform will make interactions with the Clerk's Office more efficient and accessible," said Tom Nieto, President and Chief Operating Officer at PayIt. "This initial step in our partnership represents that commitment and lays the groundwork for the digital transformation of the County's services into the future." About PayIt PayIt enables state and local government agencies to deliver a great resident payments experience that accelerates the shift to digital.
