  • 3+ years of experience working with a high-growth tech company building products in payments (residential rent collections preferred) with an emphasis on with multiple stakeholders including operations and engineering
  • Deep domain expertise in how payments work from a consumer / retail perspective. This includes rent payments, and payments for amenities in a building, digital wallets
  • Experience in how a building makes payments for its services (AP/AR)
  • Experience in building and managing connectivity to payment rails such as Visa, Mastercard, and bank networks such as ACH, and RTP
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating fee structures in the context of card and other payments
  • Comfortable in agile teams managing user story boards, with an emphasis on creating, prioritizing, and testing high impact product features
  • Experience formulating and driving a focused product vision, and owning the narrative with leadership, users, and partners leveraging broad industry knowledge and extensive data analysis
  • Comfortable using tools such as Figma to design and share user journeys
  • Strong analytical (data-driven) and technical acumen along with strong business sense that guides ROI based prioritization
  • Experience developing product(s) from zero to first release and beyond
  • Experience negotiating with technical partners and other service providers
  • Appreciation for the regulatory landscape that surrounds payments
  • Be a highly productive team member who will work with others in the team, striving to stay a few steps ahead of the market, anticipating market opportunities, and focusing on delivering an exceptional user experience
  • Set a product roadmap for the payments platform as we expand into this adjacent capability
  • Drive the building of the product adapting to changing market conditions
  • Prioritize work items in alignment with immediate team goals
  • Get very good at asking (and answering) the question: "How important is it to solve this problem *now*?", by working with stakeholders to understand business shifts and opportunities that arise
