We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Power Management Controller (PMC) Firmware team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced firmware engineers and contribute to the development of firmware for Intel’s Power Management Controller. You will gain hands-on experience in firmware development, debugging, and testing while working on real-world projects. This internship will provide valuable insights into the firmware development process and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
6+ months knowledge or experience with Python/C++ experience
6+ months knowledge or experience with firmware development concepts and methodologies.
6+ months knowledge or experience Experience in cmake files
Preferred Qualification:
Familiarity with low-level programming and debugging techniques.
Understanding of system-level performance considerations.
Understanding of declarative programing in C++
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in
US, California:$63,000.00-$166,000.00
Salaryrangedependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
