Role Overview

Hey Dave Schatz here, CTO of Titan 👋 I was early at Facebook with Zuck, built Gas with Nikita Bier (hit #1 in the App Store, later acquired by Discord), and now I’m leading engineering at Titan, some of the most rewarding and high-impact work I’ve ever done.

We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer with deep experience in React Native and iOS mobile development to take ownership of our flagship mobile app. This isn’t a maintenance role, it’s a product-defining, experience-shaping position where your technical leadership will help steer the future of personal wealth management on mobile.

You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering leadership to craft elegant, performant, and intuitive experiences for tens of thousands of clients managing billions of dollars through Titan.

What You’ll Do

• Lead feature development for our mobile applications, from technical scoping through architecture, implementation, and release.

• Build, maintain, and optimize our mobile app using React Native, building and integrating with native modules (Swift, Kotlin/Java) for advanced functionality and performance.

• Mentor and collaborate with other engineers, contributing to architectural decisions and driving technical excellence.

• Partner with product and design to bring bold, user-centric features to life.

• Identify areas for technical improvement, refactoring, and optimization across the mobile codebase.

• Integrate AI-powered features into the mobile experience, working alongside backend and platform teams.

• Stay current with mobile development trends and best practices to ensure Titan remains at the forefront of mobile fintech.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years focused on mobile app development.

• Deep expertise in React Native and familiarity with both iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) native ecosystems.

• Proven track record of shipping high-quality, performant mobile applications in fast-paced environments.

• Experience leading projects or mentoring junior engineers.

• Strong problem-solving skills and product instincts — ability to navigate ambiguous product challenges and architect clean, scalable solutions.

• Passion for delivering beautiful, intuitive, and reliable user experiences.

• Interest in fintech, investing, or AI-driven products is a plus.

• A growth mindset — relentless about personal, product, and company improvement.
