Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in assembly, integration, and testing of aerospace systems or similar complex systems is required.
  • Hands-on experience with satellite or space vehicle assembly and integration processes is required.
  • A solid understanding of test methodologies and experience with environmental testing, including thermal and vibration testing, is required.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and software such as Python, LabVIEW, or equivalent is required.
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are required.
  • Willingness to travel to test sites and customer locations as needed is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the assembly and integration of satellite components and systems in compliance with engineering specifications and applicable safety standards.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures for functional, environmental, and performance testing of satellite subsystems.
  • Conduct integration tests to validate system performance and maintain documentation of all tests and results.
  • Collaborate with design, systems engineering, and quality assurance teams to identify integration issues early and drive them to resolution.
  • Use specialized test equipment to perform testing and data acquisition during assembly and integration phases.
  • Ensure that all assembly and testing activities follow best practices and adhere to NASA and industry guidelines.
  • Participate in anomaly investigations to determine root causes of failures and propose corrective actions.
