Squads Labs builds crypto operations infrastructure on the Solana blockchain, providing smart account and multisignature wallet technology that lets organizations securely manage on-chain assets with multiple approvals. Its Squads Protocol is an open-source, formally verified, and immutable smart contract wallet standard for Solana that enables secure, multi-party control of assets across wallets. The core product Squads Multisig supports treasury management, program upgrades, and complex on-chain operations, with features like role-based access, spending limits, sub-accounts, and in-app swaps, plus SquadsX, a browser extension that lets multisig accounts connect to any dApp. The goal is to make on-chain asset management safer, scalable, and programmable for individuals, DAOs, and Solana projects, while offering a Smart Account Program and API for developers and expanding into products like Altitude, Fuse, and Grid.

Monitor your Safe, Squads and Realms multisig treasuries in Range.

Monitor your Safe, Squads and Realms multisig treasuries in Range. Multisig has always been the account you approve from but reconcile somewhere else, now it sits in the same unified view as everything else you hold. Ivan Szeftel Marketing Manager · August 25, 2026 Over the past few weeks, Range has expanded its account integrations to include Safe and Realms, as well as Squads multisigs, which Range has monitored since 2024. Balances and transactions from all three flow into the same real-time ledger as your wallets, bank accounts, exchanges and custodians, with continuous monitoring across them. Once connected, Range applies continuous sanctions, fraud and risk exposure monitoring across your accounts, giving finance, compliance and risk teams one live record of everything the company holds. Its Connect plan is completely free, with no per-seat pricing. Connect your accounts at range.org. What multisig monitoring in Range does. Connect a Safe, Squads or Realms account and Range imports its balances and full transaction history. Deposits, withdrawals and program transfers are categorized as they land, alongside every wallet transfer, exchange trade and bank payment already tracked in Range. That labeled history is what your month-end close runs on. Range feeds enriched transaction data into the formats Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite and SAP can ingest, and builds an income statement and balance sheet from your labeled transactions, so finance is reading the same numbers as the people approving the transactions. The same continuous sanctions, fraud and exposure monitoring that Range runs on your wallets and bank accounts now covers your multisig treasuries. Range and Squads co-developed the Solana Transaction Security Standard, which protects more than $35 billion in onchain assets, so the treasury and program accounts you created in Squads are monitored against the same standard. A counterparty that appears as a wallet, a bank account and a multisig recipient is one record in Range, so exposure is measured across your entire treasury rather than per account. Why multisig treasuries need one ledger. Multisig is where serious treasuries keep serious money. Safe secures a large share of the assets held in smart accounts across Ethereum and EVM networks; Squads is the industry-standard multisig on Solana, securing more than $10 billion in onchain assets; and Realms runs governance and treasury operations for DAOs and programs across Solana. The approval model is solid, but the reporting around it usually is not. Balances are stored in the multisig console, and transactions are approved there. Then someone exports the history and matches it against the rest of the treasury in a spreadsheet. Each account reports on its own, and exposure checks happen after the money moved. When an auditor asks what a treasury held and moved on a given day, the answer is only as fast as the person who can rebuild the sheet. Multisig account monitoring in Range removes the manual step: every Safe, Squads and Realms account is screened continuously, the moment each transaction lands, against the same sanctions lists and risk signals as the rest of your treasury. The same record answers the finance, compliance and audit questions because there is only one. For finance, compliance and risk teams. If your finance, compliance or risk team is still exporting multisig history to reconcile it by hand, get in touch and Range will show you every balance and transaction across your wallets, your banks, your exchanges, your custodians and your Safe, Squads and Realms accounts, in a single live view and completely free. Protect your time and money. Get your unified treasury dashboard in 30 minutes.

Squads raises $18M to build business finance on stablecoin infrastructure.

Squads raises $18M to build business finance on stablecoin infrastructure. Apr 29, 2026, 12:10 ET NEW YORK, April 29, 2026 /CNW/ - Squads today announced an $18 million strategic round led by Solana Ventures, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Haun Ventures, L1D, Collab+Currency, Electric Capital, Placeholder, Jump Crypto, and Robot Ventures, bringing total funding to $42.9M. This raise accelerates Altitude, a financial operating system built on stablecoin infrastructure. Stablecoins are changing the infrastructure of business finance. For the last decade, building financial products for businesses meant building on top of banks - bank partnerships were required to hold customer funds and access payment rails. Every new market meant a new bank and a new compliance cycle. Blockchains changed the underlying infrastructure. Stablecoins turned money into software, allowing treasury and payments to be separated from the fractional reserve system for the first time. This separation has produced a new category of licensed Payment Service Providers (PSPs) that move money across both stablecoin and traditional banking rails. The market has moved quickly: Stripe acquired Bridge for $1.1 billion, Mastercard acquired BVNK for $1.8 billion. These PSPs were the missing piece to build a full-stack financial operations platform on stablecoin rails. Altitude is built on this shift. It does not hold customer funds. Treasury is held in stablecoins. When funds need to move, they settle on stablecoin rails instantly, 24/7, at low cost. When they need to reach traditional banking rails, they do so through a network of licensed stablecoin PSPs. Since publicly launching in December 2025, Altitude has processed over $200 million in payments for exporters, global agencies, crypto-native companies, and cross-border remote teams. Customers choose Altitude for what stablecoin infrastructure unlocks: global-by-default coverage, multi-currency support, instant settlement, and programmable controls. With $18M in new funding, Altitude is growing its team, expanding its payment network, and accelerating product development. "This raise backs a simple idea: businesses are better off running on stablecoins than on legacy banking infrastructure. Solana is now mature enough to carry global business finance, regulators have built the frameworks to support it, and for the first time you can build a full financial platform on a genuinely new system," said Stepan Simkin, CEO of Squads. "The Squads team spent the last four years building the security infrastructure that most of the Solana ecosystem runs on. Stablecoins and programmable blockchains are changing how global finance works. This is the team with the technical depth and the vision to build the financial platform that sits on top of that shift. We believe Altitude will be how the next generation of global businesses runs their financial operations," said Matthew Beck, Head of Solana Ventures. Two criticisms have historically limited stablecoin adoption in mainstream business finance: compliance gaps and security concerns. Altitude addresses both directly. On compliance, Altitude has built a proprietary engine that imposes the same checks expected from any regulated fintech: continuous sanctions screening, AML checks, transaction monitoring, and KYB verification. This engine enables every Altitude account to plug into licensed PSPs including Bridge, MoonPay, Infinite, Due, and others for global coverage. On security, Altitude enforces controls at each layer of the stack. At the product layer, every business account comes with programmable controls, granular permissions, and configurable multifactor authentication. At the infrastructure layer, Squads Protocol handles asset custody and money movement, securing over $10 billion in value. At the settlement layer, every transaction is recorded and settled on Solana. "As we scaled, treasury and payments turned into an operational headache. Complexity and fees kept compounding. Altitude removed both," said Kash Dhanda, COO, Jupiter. About Squads Squads is a financial infrastructure company building on Solana. The company operates two products: Squads Multisig, the smart account standard securing over $10 billion in assets across the Solana ecosystem, and Altitude, a financial operating system that gives businesses multi-currency accounts, corporate cards, global payments, APY on balances, and a CFO stack to run it all.
