Promise Robotics builds intelligent, compact industrial robots and a cloud platform to automate construction tasks. The robots handle on-site and factory-floor work, while the cloud software manages planning, scheduling, and logistics across the production lifecycle. The company differentiates itself by specializing in construction automation with lifecycle management in the cloud and offering a software-as-a-service model. Its goal is to scale automated home production, boost efficiency and sustainability, and help builders grow their operations without managing digital manufacturing on their own.

Simplify Jobs

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Series A totaled $25 million, including Horizon Ventures and strategic investors backing expansion.
  • Calgary production started in 2025, validating the factory model beyond pilot-stage demos.
  • Open jobs in Calgary and Edmonton signal continued buildout across software, robotics, and production.

What critics are saying

  • Revenue concentration risk: Mattamy Homes and Alberta production anchor the commercial story in 2025.
  • Construction adoption cycles stay slow; 2026 hiring signals operations scaling before durable software lock-in.
  • If factory throughput disappoints, robotics economics collapse and Promise Robotics becomes a costly services shop.

What makes Promise Robotics unique

  • Factory-as-a-Service bundles robotics, software, and operations for builders, not standalone machines.
  • Mattamy Homes partnership gives Promise Robotics a marquee North American customer reference.
  • Calgary facility targets 1,000,000 square feet annual output using deployable industrial robots.
