Requirements

4 years of experience in Machine Learning Engineer roles
Experience with C++ or Python for developing high performance machine learning models
Experience with deep-learning techniques in NLP and Computer Vision
Experience with data science tools, libraries, and frameworks
Experience with git, issue tracking, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices
Experience with machine learning algorithms
Experience in Machine Learning Ops
Experience creating orchestration workflows using tools like AirFlow, Kubeflow, or AWS Step Functions

Responsibilities

Train, deploy, and maintain complex Machine Learning (ML) algorithms
Develop process, pipeline, and tools for all components of ML lifecycle
Build and maintain data, model, and experimentation pipelines
Conduct model tuning, algorithm selection, and hyperparameter search
Partner with research and applied science teams to put models into production
Promote quality and reliability through regular code reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance robot capabilities in cognitive AI and athletic AI

Specific duties include:

1. Utilize advanced knowledge of data science to train, deploy, and maintain various complex Machine Learning (ML) algorithms on cloud and on premise infrastructure;

2. Develop process, pipeline, and tools for all components of ML lifecycle (i.e., training, evaluation, and deployment);

3. Build and maintain data, model, and experimentation pipelines;

4. Leverage complex robotics and software technologies and methods to conduct model tuning, algorithm selection, and hyperparameter search;

5. Partner with research and applied science teams to put models into production;

6. Promote quality and reliability through regular code reviews;

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance robot capabilities and usefulness in the areas of cognitive AI and athletic AI.

Minimum Requirements:

A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field followed by 4 years of experience in Machine Learning Engineer roles.

Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:

1) 4 years of experience utilizing C++ or Python to develop and implement high performance machine learning models and algorithms in production environments;

2) 4 years of experience with deep-learning techniques in NLP and Computer Vision;

3) 4 years of experience using data science tools, libraries, and frameworks, including Scikit-learn, caret, mlr, mllib, SparkML, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MXNet;

4) 4 years of experience with git, issue tracking, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices;

5) 4 years of experience utilizing machine learning algorithms, including Linear and Logistic regressions, Decision tree, Naive Bayes, KNN, K-means, and Random forest;

6) 4 years of experience in Machine Learnings Ops, including model versioning, model and data lineage, monitoring, model hosting and deployment, scalability, orchestration, and continuous learning;

7) 4 years of experience creating orchestration workflows using tools, including AirFlow, Kubeflow, or AWS Step Functions.
