  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a customer facing operations role
  • 2+ years experience directly managing teams that shipped and scaled hybrid Hardware and Software products
  • Experience supporting and motivating a team operating around the clock
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Access to regular, reliable transportation to customer facilities around the bay area
  • Calm under pressure
  • Experienced working in a startup environment
  • Experienced in the robotics, automation, or food industries
  • Experienced with writing training materials
  • Fluent in Spanish or Vietnamese
  • Experienced with Bash, Linux, and ROS
Responsibilities
  • Promptly respond to problems at customer sites and collaborate with the engineering team to implement timely solutions
  • Increase product uptime and utilization through implementation, experimentation, and optimization of processes
  • Lead and grow the Operations team to help scale Chef domestically and manage remote deployments
  • Provide feedback and updates to the Engineering and Leadership teams on customers' product use
  • Travel to customer sites often to collect feedback and ensure your team is successful
  • Maintain high uptime and utilization of robot systems deployed in mission critical, 2 shifts per day, 7 days per week food production operations around the country
  • Act as the face of the company at customer sites, making sure that customers feel heard and their concerns are resolved
