Responsibilities
  • Operate computer numerical control machines to produce high-quality fasteners.
  • Set up and calibrate machines according to specifications.
  • Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread-chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related problems.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Perform other duties as needed or required.
