Requirements
  • Must have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (and related tools).
  • Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Occasional travel may be required and travel must be approved in advance in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
  • Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland Area.
  • Must be able to submit to varying levels of background investigative requirements up to a Top Secret or DOE Q clearance.
  • All employees must be eligible for a Facility Access Authorization (Employment Authorization) by the U.S. Government Security Office.
  • Minimum education is a high school diploma.
  • The position requires eight years minimum experience providing services in structured environments as an Administrative Assistant related to Transition and Economic Development and Strategic Support for Government policy and operational programmatic efforts related to service members transition to civilian life.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports and other program documentation.
  • Prepare graphics presentations.
  • Plan and coordinate meetings and conferences.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and reproduction.
  • Proofread and edit documents using familiarity with specialized and technical terminology.
