Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a related role, preferably within an e-Commerce or SaaS business environment.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite and Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to create and manipulate pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements, and SUMIFS formulas.
  • Familiarity with Callidus Commissions systems is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes, including journal entries and accruals, particularly within software companies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets, with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
  • Understand and manage the commission programs for global sales and marketing teams.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly commission statements, ensuring accuracy in calculations and payments.
  • Review and resolve discrepancies in commission data with relevant teams.
  • Generate monthly commission accruals and perform reconciliations for commission-related accounts.
  • Assist in the creation and updating of annual commission plans.
  • Prepare and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Regularly communicate with sales and marketing teams to review earned commissions and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with upper management on ad-hoc projects and internal requests.
