Requirements
  • Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy program.
  • CT credential within 12 months of hire date.
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
  • One of the following primary credentials: ARRT-R Radiography, ARRT-T Radiation Therapy, ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification.
  • ARRT-CT Computed Tomography certification or a Computed Tomography credential from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
  • For Illinois work locations, Radiologic Technologists licensure or temporary accreditation from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency is required.
  • For Wisconsin work locations, a Wisconsin licensed radiographer credential is required.
  • The role requires constant standing and walking, frequent patient lifting and movement, and the ability to perform the listed physical activities safely.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients and accurately select anatomic and technical parameters.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity.
  • Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements when warranted.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
