This position is specifically dedicated to our Innovation Lab.

The Innovation Lab, or simply the Lab, is where we push the boundaries and build new products from the ground up. With a startup mindset but deeper pockets and more field experience, the Lab constantly faces the unknown with agility and intensity.

So, what will your new role look like?

As a Senior Front End Developer, you will work on a few products within the Innovation Lab. By building new innovative experiences from scratch, you will work closely with the co-founders, product manager, designers and other developers.

Your responsibilities will include:     

• Take ownership of the front-end development process, from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing UI/UX.
• Make sure to keep clean front-end code and implementation.
• Provide great support to our early adopters.

A typical week? 

• Developing new value / features: 60%. 
• Design, architecture, technical feedback: 25%.
• Support our early adopters: 10%.
• Team meetings and rituals: 5%.  

What are the next challenges awaiting your team? 

• Build new features for a brand-new product.
• Collaborate with the platform team and brainstorm solutions.
• Maintain and improve front-end development practices at the lab.

Qualifications

• You are an expert in front-end software development using TypeScript, React and CSS;
• You are comfortable with Netlify, JavaScript infrastructure, webpack, npm and CI/CD;
• You like working with Storybook and Chromatic;
• You can easily break down complex technical concepts, communicate them simply to stakeholders or the team;
• You’re familiar with current trends and best practices, including performance, security and usability;
• You’re familiar with product and design lifecycles, and collaborating closely with designers, developers, and product managers;
• You’re very autonomous, high agency, great to work with;
• Experience in start-up environments will be considered a bonus.
