Chowbus, Inc. in Flushing, NY seeks Regional Financial Planning Analyst Lead, Marketing.
Manage the short- and long-term financial planning process, challenging assumptions and
ensuring business drivers are clearly understood and highlighted. Serve as primary business
partner to marketing leadership. Help to develop tools to monitor spend effectiveness, guide
decision making, and drive continuous improvement. Work cross-functionally to understand
and analyze cohort-level performance and performance drivers. Own planning cycles and
provide leaders with insights to manage headcount and expenses. Report and analyze
monthly financial results and effectiveness of marketing spend and communicate important
takeaways to senior stakeholders, including identifying business opportunities and risks.
Develop financial models, track and analyze financial KPIs, uncover trends, and assess
business risks and opportunities to provide recommendations to senior leaders. Coordinate
and lead cross functional meetings, document decisions & follow up on actions. Ensure that
the various reporting systems and source data are accurate and reconciled. Drive and
effectively manage ad hoc projects and investigation as required. Collaborate with other
functional areas to drive processes forward and increase efficiency. Work closely with the
Finance leadership team to build the financial infrastructure to support the company’s current
and future business requirements. Salary: $133,370 - $135,370.
Must possess a Master’s Degree in Enterprise Risk Management, Finance, Business
Administration, or a related field. Must also possess course work or work experience with (i)
fundamental principles of finance including financial statements and ratios analysis to
evaluate financial performance; (ii) accounting principles and processes; (iii) preparing,
designing, and delivering professional presentations; (iv) negotiating techniques to be more
effective in achieving goals while enhancing relationships including conflict resolution,
principles of persuasion; (iv) strategic risk management, operational risk management, and
financial risk management; and (v) ERM framework.
