Requirements
- Proficient in Adobe Pro and MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- Experience with Abacus is desired, but not required
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Must be detail oriented and able to work independently
- Completed paralegal program
- College degree preferred
- Typically has 3-5 years of professional experience
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents
- File pleadings with the court
- Coordinate service of process and publication of legal notices
- Schedule hearings and depositions
- Draft correspondence to clients and third parties
- Record real estate documents in various county clerk's offices
- Obtain copies of documents filed with the court and county clerk's offices
- Provide administrative support to the attorneys, including processing mail, making copies, scanning documents and screening telephone calls
- Organize and maintain electronic files
