Requirements
  • Related university degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of four (4) years or more experience in pipeline engineering, pipeline integrity, gas transmission or distribution operations OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or a Canadian jurisdiction
  • Understanding of pipeline design, construction practices, field operations, and non-destructive inspection methods for pipelines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and complete integrity plans for Enhanced DIMP assets
  • Perform integrity assessments based on the available data
  • Ensure all Enhanced DIMP hazards are effectively identified, investigated, assessed, and prioritized for mitigation
  • Assess the Enhanced DIMP assets hazards to develop an understanding of the asset condition, fitness for services, and risks associated with the operation of the assets
  • Develop Enhanced DIMP documentation following the company’s internal processes and practices
  • Continuously improve the Enhanced DIMP program based on management reviews, effectiveness reviews, external independent validation observations, or Internal assessment findings
  • Support the development and review of the inputs to the Risk Model related to Enhanced DIMP Assets
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders for the creation and completion of integrity program risk mitigation scenarios and strategies related to Enhanced DIMP assets
