Job Description:
Position Schedule / Shift:Service center hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., andSaturday,8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Schedule and shift assignments will depend on the position.
As an Automotive Technician B,you’llperform a variety of vehicle repairs and maintenance services, including brakes, suspension, diagnostics, and routine inspections. This hands-on role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair vehicles efficiently. Working as part of a team,you’llhelp ensure customers receive safe, reliable vehicles and high-quality service. In an efficient and productive manner, performsautomotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance procedures as outlinedonrepair order for which technician is trained.
Oil changes, tire replacement and repairs, general maintenance repairs, fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, advancedrepairand maintenance services, etc. are expected to be learned and performed.
Workwith, andtrainlower leveltechnicians.
Drives vehicles into service bay, prepares themforand completes digital vehicle inspection.
Test drives vehicles and preparesvehiclefor delivery tocustomerafter necessary repairs and maintenance.
Maintains cleanliness of shop and work areas, performs otherdutiesas necessary.
High School diploma, GED, and/or technical school graduate/certification
Must possess a valid driver’s license
3 years minimum experience repairing vehicles at a dealership or automotive center.
Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and technical resources and training to independently perform a variety of basic to complex repairs and maintenance of automobile and truck vehicles.
Understand and consistently demonstrate the proper use of equipment and tools used in such repair and maintenance, as well as the need to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Ability to consistently provide exceptional customer service and improve customer service score
Ability to prioritize and deliver work on time.
Ability and basic leadership skills to mentor and train lower-level Technicians to help them be successful.
ASE certifications (or their equivalent): A4-Suspension & Steering, A5-Brakes, plus 2 other ASE certifications
State inspection certificate, where applicable
Must have own tools appropriate for their skill level for use in the Center.
May experience loud noises and odors intermittently in the shop environment.
This position involves standing, walking, and normal physical mobility, including reaching, grabbing, lifting, and carrying automotive parts and equipment (averaging up to approximately 80 pounds in weight)
Must be able to work in the heat, as some locations do not have air conditioning.
Must be able to maintain working on your feet in a concrete facility for the entire work shift.

Technician B’s will earn a competitive salary of $40,000 - $85,000+ annually with a potential weekly production bonus.

Part-time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and willaccrueat a minimum of 3 hours per month.
Full-time employees are eligible for 10 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day, 2 floatingholidaysand 1 volunteer day. Holidays vary by business unit schedules.
Part-time employees are eligible for 8 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays. Holidays vary by business unit schedules.
