Serco supports the Department of the Navy (DoN) as a supplier on the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Technical Support Services (NETSS) program providing Information Technology and Business Process design and implementation services to modernize and optimize Financial Management, Accountable Property System of Record (APSR), and Human Resource Management and Workload Management (HRM&WM) for the DoN by fully implementing ERP at the enterprise level as the system of record for the DoN. NETSS also performs sustainment activities on all deployed SAP modules within the Navy ERP system.
You will be part of a large team of Functional Analysts, Application Programmers, and other IT professionals that works closely with the Navy customers and other NETSS Teams to deliver a state of the art, high performing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution that is one of the largest SAP software installations in the world. The Serco team has been recognized by the Navy and the industry for its outstanding contributions to a long series of contracts supporting the Navy ERP Program over the past 20 years.
You will provide expert level business process guidance on Navy ERP’s SAP requirements and design. You will apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. You will design and configure business processes in SAP FI to automate the management and external reporting of the general ledger accounts receivable accounts payable and cash management; and support posting periods.
In this role, you will:
- Analyze, configure, and optimize SAP FI to meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand S&D processes
- Implement system enhancements
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules
- Provide leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 10 years of SAP experience
- Subject matter expertise in the SAP Financial Accounting (SAP FI)
- Strong understanding of FI-CO integration with logistics modules
- Strong organization and communication skills to gather business requirements from the client for developing reports, interfaces, and enhancements
- Bachelor’s degree in a recognized technical engineering scientific managerial business or other discipline related to area of expertise.
- An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree.
- The ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance.
- US Citizenship
- The ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- 5 or more years of SAP FI experience
- Knowledge of and experience with DoD and/or Navy ERP and IT architecture
- Federal experience
- Understanding of change management processes
- Experience in the software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering analysis design development documentation test (unit functional integration regression stress and user acceptance) implementation and post production support of standard and custom business solutions

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $140,006.27 to $242,632.34; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
