- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; relevant experience is required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work within established cleaning procedures is required.
- Previous experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations is required.
- Ability to obtain required licenses and certificates is required.
- Support the housekeeping team by delivering linens, towels, and supplies to guest rooms and storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in guest corridors, stairwells, elevators, and public areas.
- Remove trash and used linens from guest rooms and housekeeping carts.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down housekeeping closets and carts.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate department.
- Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in all areas of responsibility.
- Help create a warm, welcoming environment through cleanliness and professionalism.
- Additional language ability is preferred.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid training are preferred.
