- May 2026 graduates are eligible to apply for Nurse Residency Programs.
- Participate in Nurse Residency Program across health partners including classes, hands-on skills sessions, and precepted clinical experiences in order to be able to safely and confidently provide quality care to patients.
- Clinical preceptors will facilitate patient care experiences and provide direct supervision of care as you demonstrate skills and behaviors at the bedside.

Porter Medical Center provides acute hospital care and a large skilled nursing facility in rural Vermont. It operates a 25-bed acute care unit and a 105-bed Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing with memory care and rehab units, plus a network of primary and specialty clinics in Middlebury, Vergennes, and Brandon. The center combines hospital-level care with rehabilitation, memory care, and outpatient services to serve regional needs. Its goal is to deliver continuous, accessible health care by coordinating hospital, long-term care, rehabilitation, and primary care across the region.
