Requirements
  • Two to four or more years of outdoor construction or landscaping experience.
  • Ability to operate construction equipment.
  • Must be at least 21 years old due to Department of Transportation interstate transportation requirements.
  • A valid driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting, and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Must maintain a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine services on storm drains, vaults, bioswales, and related stormwater devices.
  • Install new filters, StormTek devices, cartridge exchanges, and related components.
  • Perform vehicle and equipment safety checks and submit the checklist.
  • Use tools, generators, pumps, hooks, hand tools, vactors, suction hoses, and pressure washers.
  • Read work orders and paperwork before leaving the yard.
  • Load the truck with all necessary materials and equipment.
  • Drive the truck and trailer to various work sites.
  • Ensure all crew members wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Set up traffic control and required safety equipment as needed.
  • Complete measurement forms for new and replacement grates and filters.
  • Ensure the crew takes required lunch and rest breaks.
  • Use the company phone and generate digital reports through the company application.
  • Dump and clean the vactor daily.
  • Clean the truck cab and bed daily and wash the truck every Friday.
  • Return unused materials and equipment to their proper locations.
  • Perform end-of-day safety checks around the truck and trailer and complete the checklist.
  • Submit all paperwork and complete the driver's log.
  • Attend weekly safety meetings, quarterly training, and annual safety training.
  • Assist in training new employees on all aspects of their job duties.
  • Maintain communication with the office and project managers.
  • Assist with site takeoffs as needed.
