Micron, PDD Holdings, and Adobe trade at bargain valuations — but risks remain

Three Nasdaq-100 stocks are trading at unusually low valuations despite their market presence. Micron Technology trades at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 6.5, compared to the S&P 500 average of 21, though it has surged 660% over the past year. The chip maker faces cyclical market risks as memory shortages may eventually ease. PDD Holdings, owner of the Temu marketplace, trades at a forward P/E just over eight but has declined 26% amid US-China trade tensions and slowing growth. Its revenue rose 11% year-over-year in Q1 2026, down from 131% growth two years prior. Adobe has also dropped 26% over 12 months, trading at a forward P/E of nine. Concerns centre on AI competition potentially disrupting its core photo editing business, though the company posted record revenue of $6.6 billion in Q2, up 13% year-over-year.

Adobe falls to $254 support level that previously triggered average 63% gains

Adobe's stock has declined to $254, reaching a historical support level that has previously preceded significant rallies. The last five times the stock fell to this $250-280 range, it produced an average peak gain of 63%, with gains ranging from 6.3% to 158%. The company is executing a major strategic shift to a "freemium" model, expanding its user base through AI-powered tools like Firefly and Express. Creative Freemium monthly active users grew from 50 million to 90 million year-over-year, whilst Acrobat and Express users increased from over 700 million to more than 850 million. However, this pivot creates near-term headwinds. Management has lowered second-half ARR growth expectations and deferred previously planned Creative Cloud price increases. The company maintains an 11.5% revenue growth rate and 36% operating margin over the last twelve months.

As of its November 2025 balance sheet, Adobe's debt-to-equity ratio was roughly 0.6x. Free cash flow reached nearly $9.9 billion in fiscal 2025.
